Eleven West Wendover High School students participated in an international art exhibition organized by International Action Art and Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands in Greece. The art exhibit, which is in celebration of the International Women’s Day, showcased artworks from the established artists on the international scene to emerging artists with exceptional talent and ready to share their artistic perspective with the community.
The artworks were presented in the Gallery of Galatsi Cultural Center “Kamini”, Greece, from March 4-6, 2024. It was officially opened on March 4, 2024 and has been open to the public up to March 6, 2024. It was organized by the International Action Art, Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands and supported by the Municipality of Galatsi.
Guiding the students' participation was Ms. Catherine Paje, an experienced artist and educator who recently joined WWHS last October after teaching for 15 years in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
