Last Tuesday, Governor Lombardo, OSIT, Superintendent Ebert, State and school districts officials, and community members came together to honor this year's awardees in Las Vegas. There are now 40 Designated Schools across Nevada representing the best in STEM education.
As Nevada continues to diversify its economy by recruiting STEM industry professionals, the state's education systems play a crucial role in providing STEM learning experiences to students. As members of the Nevada Designated STEM School Network (DSSN), Jackpot Combined School will have access to exclusive grant opportunities, pilot programs, webinars, and networking opportunities.
